Eddystone 880/4 — communications receiver
The Eddystone 880/4 is a communications receiver variant of the 880/2, with documented changes in controls and circuits.
Differences from 880/2
Combined RF (radio-frequency) and IF (intermediate-frequency) gain controls, a 500 kHz instead of 100 kHz crystal calibrator, omission of the audio filter, altered power facilities and a redesigned control arrangement distinguish the 880/4.
