OM3500A automatic linear amplifier
The OM3500A is an automatic radio-frequency (RF) linear amplifier for an external transceiver. OM Power dates development of its automatic OM3500A series to 2009 and serial production to 2010. Automatic tuning adjusts amplifier settings for operating conditions rather than acting as a universal antenna matcher.
Remote control and antenna matching
Remote operation requires compatible hardware and software. Standing-wave ratio (SWR) indicates an antenna/feed-line mismatch and potential reflected power; automatic tuning does not remove the need to check the antenna. Transmitter drive, ventilation and grounding must be appropriate for the exact equipment revision.
Safety and original manuals
Dangerous internal voltages may remain after disconnection, so servicing requires trained personnel. The official OM Power library lists the 2.67 MB OM3500A manual, a 500 kB remote-control manual and a 630 kB setup guide. No individually verified direct PDF is available for these documents.
