The OM2000+ FCC is a separately documented U.S. radio-frequency (RF) linear amplifier. FCC stands for Federal Communications Commission. It amplifies the output of an external transceiver but does not contain a receiver.
Hardware revisions and matching
OM Power documents several OM2000+ editions. Drive power is the RF input from the transceiver and must stay within model-specific limits. Standing-wave ratio (SWR) indicates antenna mismatch and possible reflected power. Ratings and tuning procedures from the international edition must not automatically be transferred to the FCC model.
