Eddystone 888 — amateur-band communications receiver
The Eddystone 888 is a receiving-only communications radio designed for amateur bands. Its manual describes double-superheterodyne circuitry and separate RF, IF and audio gain controls.
Amateur bands
Its six main ranges cover the 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21 and 28 MHz amateur bands. It is distinct from the 888A.
